| St. Louis meet Aug. 7th 2005
Nothing special. Just a couple of freinds meeting up on Sunday to do some RC wheelin' at a local creek. Here's some pics from last weekend. Here's where we meet up at before we go to the creek: Karen's Kwik Mart 7004 Monticello Barnhart, MO 63012 Th location is about a block or so from the meeting place. Waterproof your rig before coming out. Post here if you'd like to meet up and wheel with us this weekend. |

Come on guys i've talked to several people in this area who expressed interest and many seem to want to start a club but no one actually shows up at get togethers. I personally would like to start making this a bi-weekly or even weekly event.I have no problems with that. I apologise for the short notice but since were not a club we dont really have "events" so to speak but with more people we can make this less random and more official. Remember too that these are just fun not comps though we could start if interest were expressed. Also dont be afraid of the water waterproofing your rig is simple go to walmart kitchenware isle buy 3 pack rubbermaid square containers they are like 3x3x1 you'll know them drill small hole in the side pass wires through silicone or shoe goo i used blue poster putty so its removeable and zip tie the whole thing to your chassis actually you can see this in the window of my primer toyota landcruiser in this link.We usually do this towards the evening 3 or 4 pm but we are flexible three of us work overnight one between jobs now.also I bring a tool kit and some spare parts for trail fixes and im happy to share but bring your own if you can. So come out check it out you wont be dissapointed at the trail it is awsome something for every rig. there is alot of dry stuff to we just prefer wet. thanks for any support guys, remember were always here but its up to you to show up |

Ive Tried To Setup A Website. But No One Show Interest After I Get It All Up And Running. The Basic Layout Is Done. I Will Use Freewebs.com Until Someone Can Make A "Real" Website. The One I Have Now Is FREEWEBS.COM/STLRCRC I Have Everyone That Has Said They Are Interested In STLRCRC Club. But Yet To Post Up Pics Of It. Im On The Other Side Of STL. Im On The Illnois Side And Highly Doubt My Parents Will Let Me Drive That Far ALONE. But No One In My Family Like RC Rock Crawling. So Theres My Reason Y I Dont Show Up. But I Have A Rock Lined Creek To Crawl In. If We Had ONE Crawl In My Creek, Thatd Be The Only Meeting I Could Go To. Maby Use My Creek As A COMP Place. What Kinda Rigs do ya All Run. I Run A Tuber Clod And Soon To Be Carbon Fiber Bulu 2 TLT. Hope The Meet Goes Well. NATE |

I'm still in the process of building up my TLT crawler. So, for now, I've been borrowing Elvis' Clodzilla. Anyway, the more people we could get to join in on the fun this weekend, the better. Say John, we should snap some pics of your waterproof rig to really show how easy and cheap it can be to do. |

Where ya'll going on the 7th? Looks like a neat spot to play. I'll have to check it out sometime. This weekend is busy plus the wife is not feeling so good. So unless I don't want to feel so good, best stay home this weekend Would like to know where you guys are going though, I can check it out during the week maybe.

It's a small creek that's in a park about 5 miles south of the Arnold, MO water tower in Barnhart. It's just off hwy 55 & M. If you're unfamiliar with that area, then it's about 10-12 miles south of the 55/270 interchange. Mapquest the address above and the park is a block away. |

It was alot of fun. It was John (elvis) Cramer (a friend) and myself. I dumped the clod into the drink but I think it's gonna be ok. We snapped a few photos and shot a couple of short vids. I'll get 'em hosted soon so you guys can check 'em out.
