Is this a scaler or a crawler ? Seems to be a mix but thought Id ask...

Ask Harley, I know he had one at some point. I wouldnt classify it as a comp crawler. I wouldnt personally touch anything from Tamiya for a comp crawler. Tamiya makes great bodies for scalers but thats about all I can say for them.

Its just my opinion but that rig doesnt really have a place because as a scaler the tires are too large and stick out too far so it has more of a monster truck look to it. There may be people running them as compers but not in our neck of the woods.

Yup I owned one. If you like the looks of it go for it. I personally wouldn't own another one because of the durability and lack of support. I also didn't care for the looks so I didn't have a strong draw to keeping it around.
