Default FVRCRC Comp 9-7-08

Flathead Valley RC Rock Crawlers Comp, Sunday 9-7-08

FVRCRC is having a comp on Sunday, 9-7-08, at Gunsight Pass, near Marion, MT. We will be meeting up at the Northland Hobbies Parking lot in Kalsipell, then we'll caravan up to the comp site. Here's a link to Mapquest for directions to Northland Hobbies: http://www.mapquest.com/maps?name=No...:::::f:EN:M:/e
The area where the comp will be held is remote, so bring whatever you might need and pack out your garbage... Hope to see you there

I haven't been up there yet
What size trailer are you talking about? I'll have an EZ-UP shelter there as well as a few lawn chairs and my wife, so she is welcome to kick back under our EZ-UP...
Maybe one of our other guys has been up there and knows the terrain a little better than I do. If so, maybe they'll post-up here

I havn't personally been up there so I'm probably of no help.
I do however work with a guy that lives in Marion and knows the area because I've talked to him about it.
He has tonight off, but I will email him and see what he has to say about it. I should have an answer for you sometime tomorrow.

you could pull a trailer up there as long as it wasn't a 30 footer, and even then you prob'ly still could.
It's 25 miles from Kalispell, so you could drive up for the day and still stay in Kalispell, or there is camping right in Marion.

I need to get all my crap ready still....and clean my garage...and mow the lawn...and change the oil in the yukon.
But yet I sit here on my ass in front of the computer.

Matt you better at least come check out the area.
Maybe Jeff can build a wheelchair accessible course. lmao
