Love that cab and gave me some good ideas for the rear end of the Dakar truck I'm about to start.

Thx! Your welcome, hope to see a build on that one!

Got a little done today, fitted the front bumper, added a vent/air intake (i think it is). Aslo the rear suspension setup is doen, works great now!

I looked through the site and thats a pretty good price for the cab, looks good and solid, may have to order one for a future build.I like how yours is turning out, cant wait to see the final rig.Is there a chance I could get a shot of the final rear suspension without the wheels so I can look over the walking beam set up for my HEMTT build? I have wasted too much time on my suspension, want to get it up and running on the trails soon.

Thx, the cab is a nice piece, it is solid, almost all parts are 3mm styrene!

I can get you some pics of my setup, i have seen your hemtt on crawlcanada, looks great, look at the ural build thats in the same section, that where from i took most inspiration on the rear suspension, mine is almost the same, works great now but it took me about 2 days to get it all dialed, first time for me on a tandem axle.

I got the tire carrier almost done today, a little more work left.

I saved your build under some of my favorite rig builds...
I would love to get some pics of your rig and how you have the suspension set up.The only thing I am disappointed with on the cab kit is they could have stamped out the"MAN" logo on the front end.

Thanks!

Yea the MAN logo should be included in the kit for sure, kinda sucks...but i talked to stefan at scaleoffroad today and hes going to make an etched emblem for me and probaly start sell them as a compliment to his other emblems, not 100% about that but it sounded that way, dont take my word for it.
And i forgot to take pics of chassis today, only worked on body today so the chassis was forgotten, sorry ill get some later this week.

I got the turn signals done today, ala 2hours a piece!

Lights turned out nice.It would be nice to be able to buy the emblem instead of trying to replicate one on your own and possibly mess it up.

Got my front axle from http://www.der-getriebedoktor.de/shop2/ today, great guy to deal with and makes awesome products.

I have started to make the link mounts, got the fronts left to mount, then its link time.

I also got my seats today from Tim over on Thebungeeshop oven on scale4x4, great product, will fit great in the cab, im gonna cut the bottom down about 7mm to get them down a lil more.

A little more done today, got the front axle mounted, now its only the coil buckets left and i have a roller!

Then i can continiue on the body and such things which is more fun!

I have also started to think that the flashpoints are a little to wide and a tad to high, it tuck nicely but at full steering i have a feeling they will rub too much, maybe mud pluggers would be a little better but they are pretty similar in size and i havent heard any if they are any good. The flashpoints i have heard only good about.
I think they look awesome but they might be just to tall and wide for that cab. What you think?

Got it from the local gasstation, its net that you use to repair rust holes on 1:1 cars.
