Another small update, Rebuilt the rear propshaft so that it is all metal now. Made and mounted the aircleaners, fuel tanks and a pair of airtanks. Also fitted the windscreen, this hasn’t come out as well as I hoped but it’s not to bad for first attempt. Finally constructed a filler piece for between the bed and the chassis. A little more progress:- Toolbox on opposite side to airtanks. Rear Lights Battery for lighting installed over rear axle to improve traction. Pete. |

Very cool. I have been wanting to build a multi-axle vehicle and just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. After seeing a couple this weekend and this awesome machine I am going to go ahead and do it. I of course won't be doing the awesome rear axle but a 6x6 all the same.

nice touches man. that seems like a pretty baby sized air filter. i was thinking something the size of a film (you know what cameras used to use) canister would look better. either way though, great work that tool box is awesome. all styrene? |

Apart from the hinges and latch, the toolbox is all styrene. hinges and latch are brass and stainless steel. Pete. Last edited by Pete Attryde; 10-13-2011 at 02:47 AM. | |

Wow Pete Very nice job. That thing is a beast that can go anywhere. The rear suspension is just so cleaver and works so well. Evan |

Thanks for the comments. Well it's done (well almost). Stoplight wireing needs sorting and the front tyres just catch on full lock so I need to trim the inner arches. Exterior Interior and driver Lights and the mandatory flex shot. Hope you enjoyed the build, now all I need to do is get it muddy. Pete. |

Well I didn't like the way the front suspension worked, (it worked well but didn't fit with the look). I have re-worked the front suspension using leaf springs. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves:- Pete. Last edited by Pete Attryde; 11-07-2011 at 02:26 PM. Reason: spelling correction |
