I haven't done a build thread for a while even though I have still be working on things So thought it was about time. This one is a 6x6 with twin front steering axles, Its going to be very loosely based on a 1960's Mack H67. And possibly a Wrecker rear end not sure yet. Specs so far:- Axial Axles 1.9 Rc4wd Mud Basher Tyres 1.9 Plastic Hummer Wheels TSS Stainless 6x6 Chassis Axial Skid Durango Shocks and 2x Axial ones at the back. An Ebay Transfer Case with a couple of Junfac Shafts. Homemade Steel Weight Hubcaps There's lots more to do and more parts to get. I will have some body shots very soon....... |

Pictures then as it's almost where I want it, filler count is zero at the moment and it just needs a tiny tickle around the Hood. O the Joys of Curves. I was going to try and get reasonable white background shots but had a major hinderance helping me |

I was curious on how it was going to look with the dual steering set up, I like it! Definitely looks mean. Any ideas on paint?

I like the wrecker idea, but with those tires and the dual axle set up, maybe a trials style exo cage and tube back?

More pictures as the cab is nearly there. Back inside I fabbed up a simple bench seat The Driver is going to have to lose his shoes. Also mocked up a Rear Section (still needs some work) decided on going down the Trails Truck Route. Plenty of room underneath for a good sized battery. So here's where i'm at. |

Change of Direction on this slightly, I wasn't feeling the rear bed so started from scratch. First up a thanks to Costa Coffee for donating the wooden decking This hinges up so a Battery can be hidden underneath. Cab has also been painted Pepper Red and Moondust Silver. I have the Bed to paint up now. Getting there more soon. Last edited by Dready; 09-26-2014 at 02:50 PM. |

Love the build, and good call on changing the bed this 2nd version looks very fitting for this truck. The first one was equally awesome just didn't fit the truck and im sure you will find something to run it on.
