Default Sewer Turdle

Some mutant turtles left this behind in the sewers

After a good steam cleaning it was time for some mods

Then it needed to be set on a chassis

Specs
RcOffroad CZ variable 6x6 chassis
Old school TLT axles, clocked alu C-hubs and alu knuckles, cvd's in front, alu rear lockouts in back
R2 trans
Servo winch
Wood flatbed
1.9 Rock beasts (Flat irons are only for build stage)
VP light bar
Bright LED headlights
Alu body shocks
Etc...
Nothing overly special, it is just going to do work.

Not too bad for a parts bin build.

That is a fun build. Now my little guy won't stop talking about it.

Did you save any of the unused bits from the original body ? I'm considering putting together a turtle themed 6x6 van on a HG P601 base. Great color choice on this one.

Underwent a little conversion to SCX axles this week, should be all
ready for this weekend and the Pitbull Tires Super Series Mega-Cup Intergalactic Nationals of the Universe.

Survived its first G6 event, and its ride in the Merry Ferry

A little "cloudy mud"

Thanks to the G6 team and PittBull Tires, for an awesome event in scale goodness.
Thanks also to GCM Racing
