I will post pics tonight when I get home from work.

I spent 3 hours a day for 5 months, It is a stock Ford aeromax. It was inspired by 1 picture of a 1:1 truck I found. So I just guessed about the interior.

The reason it took me so long to build is because I didn't have plans or any ideas, so I had to make it up as I went along. The bottom bunk window on the driver side has mini-blinds, and were a pain to make.

Are we not going to mention that all the figures are from TWD? It's like you tried to recreate an episode of the show.

Wow, thanks guys !!

@ Derek Larsen, TWD figures are the closest to 1|14 scale I could find and they work very, very well.

As for the pics, I took a lot of them tonight.

I will start with the pic of the 1:1 truck that inspired the build.
Quick story, I had my aeromax and wanted to build a motorhome. So I googled until I found something that resembled what I was after. I found 1 single pic, and then I just went for it.

The real truck

Then I googled motorhome interiors, and just found some ideas to work with. Not going to bore you with those pics, but my m'home is based off of pics I found and could work with.

So, with that, the pics.......

The aeromax

The t.v.

Kitchen and sleeping area border lights

Top side view

The slide out in\out

This down the sleeping area to the bathroom. I sandwhiched some clear lexan with smeared c.a. glue to give a frosted glass effect.

The bathroom

The shower, sorry for the crapy pic

The mini-blinds. These were such a pain to make. The idea was to do most of the windows with these. I spent 2 hours making just these. once I sat back and realized the time wasn't worth the result, I called it quits with the idea.

Then the spare tire cover. There is a spare under there.

That's it mostly.

Thank you very much. I learned a lot from this.

The 2 most important, have a plan and have more than 1 picture to work with.

Very cool, I need one of those, but in 1/8-1/10 scale!!!. Now where is part 2 of this build? Yes, that cool stacker trailer! Load it up with those smaller crawlers. You will win every car show you enter.

I don't exactly have a part 2 in mind. The best I can offer is this.....

I do have a matching trailer in mind. The trailer is actually the original practice body for the m'home. It looks like total poo because I did some paint tests on it, but I never really intended anything to be in it.

But your idea got me thinking.

Since I don't have anything to add right now, I will post some build pics.

Having comp\p.b. issues.

Here is the mini-blind build.

I literally built them using a magnifying glass. I cut the slats, reamed the holes, used a sewing needle to thread the string through, then I added a drop of c.a. glue at each hole. Then I hand rolled them to break the glue so they all moved freely.

This is through the magnifying glass

Here was an lol moment

Here is the test of the yellow paint

Here is stretching the Bruder trailer to accomidate the m'home.

The making of the shower

Im not sure what else to share.

Thank you.

I almost didn't finish it. About half way through the build, my neighbor and I were looking at motor home pics through Google and all of a sudden, there popped up an rc motor home. Crazy thing, it looked a lot like what I was building. It had a different cab, but had the slide out and front door in the same place as mine. But, his body was made out of wood.

When I saw the pic, I clicked on the link and it took me to the build thread. The build thread had not been updated since 2009 and as far as I know, it was never completed. So I continued on with mine.

I set out once to make a Scania cab Axial scx10 6x6 motor home type thing. The idea with that was to have running water. I bought a water pump, made some sinks found some tubing and built an interior. I gave up on it eventually.

I get some crazy thoughts sometimes.

Went to Savors today and found a barn for $3.99 !!

I have been wanting to build some sort of redneck truck sales lot, and now I can. Plus I don't even need to build the building because its already done....yay !!

I did a quick throw in of pieces that I built before, the desk is a 1\14 version of my desk. Now I need to clean the barn up, build some other things, get it outside for some pics with the M'home, King hauler and Cascadia. I also have a Bruder cement truck and garbage truck to add.

Now for the pics.....
