Default Multi Channel Radio for your crawler

I don't know if any of you here are in the market for a new radio.

I just ordered one from Hobby Horse.com
It is the Multiplex Profi Car 403. It's a 75mhz, positive shift, pistol grip transmitter that can run up to 7 Channels!

There is a review of it here http://www.noeither.com/WK/tech/proficar403.php

It was also discussed here My new TX review

I searched the Internet, and couldn't find any place that still had them in stock (other than eBay for $229)

I contacted Multiplex and they told me to call Hobby Horse at (800) 604-6229 instead of going through their website or e-mail.

I called, and they had them in stock (I don't know how many), but I ordered mine for $55 plus $7 shipping.

I just thought that I would pass the information here in case any of you needed more channels.

Maybe I need to build a scaler now !

I guess that your best bet at this point would be to call the manufacturer direct. Hopefully they can point you to another place to purchase it.

Here's the contact info:
Martin S.
Hitec RCD LLC.
Phone 858 - 748-8440 ext 314

Good Luck
