| Traxxas Slash...
Thanks to Sparky0068, today He and I were both able to snag one of these. (Thanks again, Jesse! ) This thing is a BLAST! I HIGHLY suggest getting one. It's as durable as a 'Pede (I've done things with this already that would have shattered my crawler and my Mini-T to pieces.) I've drifted it all over the gravel roads in front of my house, ran it through water with reckless abandon, and terrorized one neighborhood cat. me and Jesse got a chance to bash them around in front of his hosue and it was a PARTY! (BTW, Jesse, try re-programming the ESC... mine goes waaaay faster now, and the brakes work slightly better. ) Sorry, no action shots, but this is one sweet pic. |

After you left I ran another 5 packs through it. I believe as the motor brushes broke in it got faster. I will try to reprogram the esc and we can compare next sunday! |

Those look like a lot of fun! You're supposed to say that they suck though, so I won't be tempted to buy one. |

The Plex has 5 left. 189.99 Started with 13 yesterday. We'll be racing them in a box stock class on the offroad, very similiar to our mini class. Our course will be shortened, and we're starting them side by side, Corr style with lap races instead of timed. Very fun. |

we're having crawler GTG Sunday if there's time I think everybody should bring their slash and we'll run 'em. I've had an absolute PARTY with this thing but I forgot the stock tranny gear cover has a huge hole in it at the bottom by the halfshafts. I've been running it on the gravel in front of my house and the stuff got in there and tore up the gears before I realized what was going on... so now I need a new spur gear and pinion. (DOH!) So if you guys plan to run in any wet, nasty stuff or gravel, I suggest getting an RPM gear cover. There's no hole in those. In fact, I'd just call it a mandatory up-grade. BTW, I did a couple a things to mine to make it stand out a bit... Last edited by JavelinSST390; 06-20-2008 at 08:34 PM. |
