teflon tape might work for awhile but upgrade shocks are a good choice.

What are some good shocks to have? Right now I have some used Traxxas Tmaxx shocks that I had gotten from a local guy but they leak pretty badly. So I wouldn't mind getting some different ones.

Traxxas Big Bore caps are a perfect fit.

Losi Shock Mounts?
You may want to do this as well, since the mounting holes on these are pretty small. I did it on mine and it works great.
