Default having issues after adding dig unit

I just added a DNA dig unit to my axial, got the DX6i radio and reciever binded, but once i flip the switch for the dig and turn the wheels, the whole truck goes nuts. Once i go back to my original setup for electronics the truck goes to normal.

I am running the Integy 55turn, spektrum AR6100e reciever,dx6i, LRP digital ESC, 7 cell NIMH 1200 custom battery, hobbico CS-35MG(dig servo), hobbico digital CS170(steering servo).

I am so frustrated with the setup i am close to sell it and buy something else. I love having fun with the slow slug

Which ESC is that specifically? Do you know what the BEC rating is on it? You may just need to add an external BEC to your setup. I am running one on my rig that is wired directly to the steering servo.

All the LRP BEC amperages suck.

Get a Castle Creations BEC (they're about $25) and I think it should solve your glitching issues...

What servo were you running? Did you add a BEC?

Yeah added the novak 5 amp BEC. Solved the issue. Hobbico cs-35mg. The servo never showed signs of going south or smoke, just went thru 2 of them this week. I will get one more servo and have someone setup the freakin dig unit. All my EPA's were at zero-25.

Maybe i am doing something wrong, i am going to let it sit for the weekend and next week get something done, if not i will not use the dig at the comp.

If i could trade someone a SCX-10 for my crawler without my electronics i be happy, atleast then i could do scale build.

quit stressing... i didn't have a dig at the comp , learn to drive it without one . they do help but ya don't need one to be competitive. remember this is a fun sport without all of the BS of racing hows your mom doing?

Just bring it with you to the comp. We will do all we can to help you. We've all been there before, struggling to get something working right.
