Default Update on 6/20 comp!! Please read!!

Ok boys & girls .... we have a "challenge" from the folks in Iowa who would like to attend the comp on 6/20 that is currently scheduled for 1 PM at Hobby Town Hobby Plex.

With the possibility of another 10 or more competators, we won't have enough "space" in the crawling section at the Plex to get everyone through in a reasonable amount of time............so I'd like to put it to a vote.

Is everyone okay with changing location to the park on 132nd Street, and changing the start time to 10:30 AM?

WE NEED INPUT, so don't be shy! Post up and let us know if you are okay with changing time and location.

We need to know NO LATER than the 16th so we can plan accordingly, and also give the folks in Iowa time to plan their departure time from Iowa.

There's talk of "ass whoopin's", so bring your A-GAME folks!

I say the 132nd street location. that way you might be able to score two courses at the same time. Since I don't have a comp rig yet, I could help score one of the runs.

Okay, I am thinking I might be able to build a little tube or fiberglass/wood chassis to compete. What Class rules are we using? Rule 2.3 -- Class 2 -- 2.2 tires? And would a tube chassis be a body less design? Does anyone have an extra crawler body to use if i go fiberglass/wood? Lastly, can i buy some stock axial shocks/springs from someone?
