| Had fun today
I stopped up to The Plex and did some testing on the new rig. I just could not believe what it will do so effortlessly and how violently I could hammer the throttle and keep the truck under control. Here is the setup I am running right now... XR10 Twin FXR's 45 turn motors Novak "The Dig" DX3R CS170 Been trying different wheel offsets and spring/shock setups. I also ditched the factory battery/electronics try and cut my own. After testing at The Plex and Trendwood, I know this truck will do everything my Losi MOA would do plus more. I just started tuning and cutting parts for the XR10 and it has gotten me enthused about crawling again. The XR10 did get passed around more then a joint at a Pink Floyd concert tonight. In an hour Jim, Ken, Ron, Jay, and a guy I have never met blasted it over both the indoor and outdoor courses at the Plex. Everyone seem pretty surprised at how well it crawled. I will get some pictures up soon, first I need to clean it up a little |

I have been fighting Photobucket so these pictures should have been posted a couple days ago. This is the first real mod I have done to my XR10,a new steering arm. Sorry for the crappy cell pics... I like the way it feels and the servo is running cooler. Also, being over 3/8ths of an inch higher, the drag link doesn't get hung up as much. |
