Here is our planned schedule for Summer 2011

There are 10 scheduled comps.
We will drop your two lowest scores just like we did last year.

June 25th

July 9th & 23rd

August 6th & 14th

i would like to see some scale gtg's for the summer as well !!! hint hint you scaler guys

I should be able to make 6 or 7 of them.

I definitely will be missing one in june and one in august. I hope there will be a volunteer to take my place when Im gone.

FYI, here are the Offroad Summer Series race dates for those of us that also run offroad.

1/10 Electric: June 11, July 9, Aug 6, Aug 27, Oct 1.

1/8 Nitro and Electric: June 12, July 10, Aug 7, Aug 28, Oct 2.

Jconcepts Spring Nitro Nationals: May 27-28

Roar 1/8 electric nationals: Sept 14-18

It looks like there is some overlap in June, July and August.

not sure how many of us race off road and may have to do some juggling if enough post up.

I'm already doing some juggling of my teaching schedule.
I think I can make 8 of them now.

I hope these dates don't change now. LOL

i have give it some thought and i dont think i can make everyone happy... so the dates will stand as posted.

I wasn't implying that dates should be changed. I just figured since there are a few of us that run both that it would be a good idea to show the overlap. I figured it would also help to let everyone know since the parking at the Plex becomes quite limited on the offroad SS race days in case the plan was to hold the comps at the Plex on those days.

If the comps are held at the plex on the overlapping days, it might help increase interest in this side of the hobby both from spectators and offroad racers. We've got 5 months for constructive discussion.

I also agree in keeping the schedule as it is.

Added dates to my calendar. I think a few of us will be back for the comp on the 2nd.
