There's just something cool about how the TSL Swampers look with the tuber body.

I've got a set of plates and a skid, I just haven't spent the time moving stuff from one chassis to the other one. Been spending too much time trying to get my Bully to at least have predictable handling. |

| Sportsman Class
Guys, I think we could have a good start for a sportsman class this summer. With only a few members of the club judging and score-keeping, I think we need a few sporty drivers to run the sporty class. If we could get a few people to run this class it would really help out. Sporty and 2.2 can not run on the same courses per the prerunning rule. Post up what you think, good or bad. The only place it would be hard is at the Plex in the current set-up. After the work is done for the CSC we would have enough room for three courses at a time. My sportsman rig is waiting to kick butt. Psycho Sorrry this is under Heather's sig! |

This was already discussed at great length last fall. Here are the notes from the Oct 2nd 2010 club meeting minutes. Sportsman Class - It was agreed that for next years Summer Series that we will be adding the Sportsman class. This will be following the USRCCA Sportsman class rules. It will be run on the first 5 gates of our regular 2.2. class courses. Therefore you will not be able to run both classes. |

Well, until I get a new rear axle for my Bully (snapped the axle off at the wheel nut on Tuesday), I guess I gotta work on changing my scx10 over to a pro-line tuber ax10. It would be nice to be able to run both 2.2 sportsman and 2.2 comp. Based on the decision to use the first 5 gates of the Comp course for Sportsman, could it be set up that the Sportsman run the gates backwards. Then theoretically, you could still run comp and sportsman on the same gate markers, but it would be a different course. It's just an Idea.... |

So, not enough to vote on it yet. What about a live vote at the next comp. Just right down what you want and put it in a hat and we will count the votes. This reminds me Brings $20 to the next comp to pay your dues, or you will get charged $5 to crawl that day. Im not being a horses rearend, but we need to get everyone paid up. | |
