Sorry guys for my lack of involvement lately.
I would like to keep the two seasons the way they have been, but I am ok with making them one. I will also throw my Nats invite back in if that is what the club wants. Not sure if I can go any way, sister in-laws wedding. I think the cost is right where it needs to be. I should be ready to start comps next week. Thanks James for your work.

Unless Fish changes the dates for Nats, then I might want to keep it.

Ok, I quick made a schedule for ya'll. I didnt add any out of town comps in. That is something you guys need to work out. I moved up the comp times to 10:30 that is not a start time, that is a call time (something Ive learned in music is if you dont have a call time people will be late) so start time will still be 11

With Ty so graciously giving his invite up, we can do the new comp schedule. And it is as follows. You guys can change it as you want it. This is just a draft.

Dec. 3 – Hobbyplex 10:30
Jan.14 - Hobbyplex 10:30
Feb. 4 - Hobbyplex 10:30
Feb. 25 - Hobbyplex 10:30
Mar10* - Hobbyplex 10:30
Start 6 Comp Championship Series for spot to nats
Mar. 24 - Hobbyplex 10:30
Apr14 - Trendwood 10:30
Apr. 28 – Lincoln 10:30
May12*MIDWEST CHALLENGE? Take scores from challenge and do season points on nsca members
June9 – Cunningham lake lighthouse 10:30
June23 – Lincoln 10:30
End championship series here and turn in invite to fish And if needed you can go over one more week if there is a cancelation . He wants the invite name on the first week, and the 1st of July is the begining of the week.
July 1 – Hobby Plex 12pm
July28 – Trendwood 10:30
Aug11 – Lincoln 10:30
Aug19 – Cunnigham lake Lighthouse 10:30
Sept 8*NATIONALS
Oct 13*CRAWL-A-PALOZA
Nov 10 – Hobbyplex 10:30
Dec 8 Plex 10:30

Also at the MWC if we take the club members scores and put them in order of finish, and do club season points so that can count as one of the 6 comps for the nats invite.

And then after the 6 comps, start another season for a points run to have bragging rights and end it in 2012 right before the next 6 comps start.

What do ya'll think.

I like it.

Hey, where it says midwest challenge, do you mean the Central States?

Chad never gave up his spot, so you might be a little quick with this post. Also the vote thread chad started was in favor of not changing the comp format. Just don't want to take away something chad worked hard for, not my place to do so. Just something to think about.

Hmmmm good call.

Sorry chad for steppin on your toes. Forgive me, I never learned how it all worked. Ty won the 1.9 and 2.2 classes. What was Chad going for? Do they invite the second place as well? Let me know.

This is not changing it in the way we talked before. Before we spoke of having our comp season be from Jan1 - Dec31 and having the winner of all of those comps take the invite.

I figured this is the same kind of format, but slightly different. Instead of having 10 summer comps for the invite, we have 6 comps and the rest are just like our winter series, but just prolonged.

Let me know if I was wrong on The Chad's part.

This year the club got 2 spots so if that stays the same then chad would also get a spot.

Ah, Jim said that that is not a constant. We cant guarantee they will give it to us again. I dont know if Jim can ask to see if we get two again, or what the deal is.

I am OK with it. I can not go if it is on the same weekend as the last few years anyway. No toes stepped on.

So if this is your schedule for the season, we have no drops?

I too think we need to schedule another comp in Sioux Falls. Now that we know we might get a good turn out. We can plan your day alittle better. I also had a great time up there. Maybe have it on July 1st? This might give some people a long weekend to go out and play. Maybe not.

Where is the May 12th comp going to be? To be decieded?

Sorry had the date wrong for Midwest Challenge. It should be the middle of March, not May.
Sorry

well I was refering to the midwest challenge to be the Central states. So thats what got me all screwed up. So the midwest challenge is something else?(you can see that I am in tune with the big comps)

I think may 12 is a great day for the CSC if it doesnt interfear with any thing else.

And in the 6 comp set there would be 1 drop and for the rest of the year it should be 3 drops. Does that sound fair.

Yes Midwest Challange is a national qualifier. It is one that is close enough to go to.

May 12th sounds good to me for Central States.

Drops sound good too.

Looks good to me too. I just have no idea if us having 2 invites for 2.2 was a one time deal or if it will stay that way.

Ok, so we really havent got anything firgured out as to who is taking my spot next saturday is the last comp of the year.

I will not continue on after this.
Heather has said she will post scores after the comps. We still need someone to get people signed in at the beginning of the comps. We need someone to take money and keep a ledger of money in and out. We need a couple people to set up courses. That would be the 5 people for the Rock Crawler Council. Those 5 would also have a vote on all decisions and majority of 5 rules.

Let me know who wants to do what. Someone has to do it, becuse after this comp, I'm done.
Thanks

Everything you've done has been really appreciate James!
As I've already posted, I won't be able to make it to the first comp because I'll be out of town. Once I am back, I would be willing to check people in for the comps.
