What do you all think about coming down to Las Cruces? We could have a great comp in Broad Canyon. I know some great spots for Supers and you 2.2 guys as well:-P.

The following weekend we will be in AZ , Anyone else going to the Summer Shoot out?

Shall we do La Cueva again? That seemed to work out fairly well and loads of courses we can do there. I'm partial because I plan on taking the family and out of town friend to the Tram afterwards.

I am ok with La Cueva. There were some great runs up there, and we could "Build" some challenging courses. And last time there was a minimal amount of carnage.

La Cueva sounds good. I bet all the leaves will be washed out of there after today! Runs should be nice and clean..... I'm game if I'm in town. Might be going camping that weekend.

You guys have room for some out of towners in the comp?

Me and a friend were thinking of making the drive down. We are both running 2.2 rigs.

Once again, for anyone not familiar with La Cueva, don't forget your $3 day use fee. The ticket guy can be really persistant.....

Ya, for some reason, he really likes guys named James... They are on his "Hit List" or something.

Hey man, I'm just looking out for our guests! Wouldn't want them spending their hard earned parts cash on a disproportionately expensive parking ticket..... Isn't it something like a $75 ticket for a $3 day fee?

Oh yeah, there's another James..... Did he get a ticket last time out?

Not last time I think. I could be wrong, but I think he's managed to not get a ticket once yet. But he has had warnings almost every time he goes out.

My guess would be course set-up around 10:00 and comp starting around 11:00? Speaking of the other James, has anyone called him to let him know about this one? I don't think I have his number....

So is this going to be an actual comp or just a show up and play?

DJ hasn't let Badger know about who the top 2 are for this year (which by my last count was me and James M.). I don't plan on competing anyway, and I know James really wanted to, but he isn't online here at RCC, so he won't qualify to compete with out an account.

Either way, I'm not positive if we'll make it since my friend from England will be in town. We might have some other stuff we end up doing on Sunday morning. I think on his list of things to do in America, rc crawling was low on the list.

How in the H-E-Double Hockey Stick could crawling NOT be on his list of things to do in America?!!!!!! And you call this guy your friend?

Aaaaanyway, if we aren't actually having a comp, which is fine with me,(unless someone reeeeaaaally wants to have one....) then there is really no set time to be out there so just show up anytime between 10:00 and around 1:00ish (crawling time may vary depending on how many of us remember to charge a pack or two and on how much carnage occurs....).

Default comp or no comp

comp or no comp, I will be out there around 10ish. Haven't had that much time to test and tune some new mods. If we don't have a true "comp" It could be fun to still set up some comp runs. Just a thought.
