Default Time to crawl!

So after browsing the online annals of rccrawler.com I finally couldn't take it anymore and caved into the overpressure of seeing other people having fun with their rockcrawlers. So I bought my AX10 despite the fact I planned on buying it later this month. My rig should show up by next weekend and be RTR. In light of this, when and where do you guys usually meet up?

There are at least four places we run in ABQ. Depending on where you are, one is out on the West side near I-40 and Coors (Pete's Playground - actually a drainage chanel), two are in the foothills (La Cueva Picnic area and White Wash at the end of Candelaria past Tramway), and one is behind the Lotaburger on Eubank and Osuna (Poo Water). We've been trying to go the second Sunday of each month but there are usually a few of us who go more often. Just keep an eye on this section for days and time. More than likely someone will want to go out this weekend. Also, just post up a date and time and anyone who can make it will usually post up.

Congrats on catching the crawing bug. You will have a blast and your stock RTR will last about a week before you start with the mods.....

Pretty much like Ram2500 said.. we are pretty much ready to crawl when ever. (just don't let little league get in the way!) I just got some new goodies in the mail, so when I get a chance to get them on the truck.. we will have to go out and play! Just got to make sure I can get out of the house with a newborn around!

You have a newborn? Oh man..... I can't believe you even have the balls to leave the house to go crawl... Nice knowin' ya man! BTW, they were eliminated last Sunday so Little League is done. Got my summer back! (except we're probably going camping next weekend.... defintely bringing a couple rigs...)

This week is pretty much out for me with the new born. The wife would kill me. On the flip side, I am going to build a rock garden in the back yard. Where is the best place to find/buy some rocks?

Try a landscaping company yard. I would also recommend Rocky Mountain Stone, but their rocks are not cheap. You might cruise some construction sites around the foothills area. They usually turn up a lot of rock doing footing excavation and they might be willing to give you some if they don't plan on using them for landscaping.

No crawling for me this weekend. Going camping. I'll be ready to crawl for sure next weekend (unless a bear gets me this week....). My brother will probably head out though.

Just post up when you are in town or PM any of us and somebody should be able to catch up with you for sure. I don't think I have any plans for that weekend (although I haven't asked the boss yet.....).

Sandia was sold out for that weekend, so we booked it for Aug 23rd-24th.

Sold out! Dang! Oh well, not a problem, some of us should still be able to head out that weekend as well. Just keep us posted.

I am currently stuck with the factory lizards. Wish the Losi Carvers would be released already so I have a better tire to use. Heck I just completed the build on my current rig changed up the panels, so I haven't even ran her yet...
