Scaler run 2/10/13

well now not so fast, we dont have to have a race if everyone is down for just a scale run im down with that too. the last thing i want to do is burn out the hammerdowns. the turnout in october was huge and i want to keep it that way. if only having a huge race once a year keeps it huge then that can happen too. i wouldnt mind another scale run in the puerco where you guys had the last scale comp, which MSD and i talked about yesterday. so Mitch if you want to get this scale run going on the 10th i'm 100% behind you

It's your call my friend. I can good either way. Adam and Will know the spot that we had the comp and the the puerco very well, and hopefuly they will chime in here. It was supper easy to get to. Ground clearance my be a bit of an issue... no low riders need apply. 4x4 is NOT required.

All truth be told, I am good either way. We just have not done anything with scalers in a while. I think the last outing was the KOH event.

im down for that, i could go for just an easy day of scaleing. my wraith is on the back burner for a while anyways due to the short course bug that bit me. my honcho is all good to go though. so what time do we want to meet up?

I say we meet at 10am at the Wal-Mart off of southern. From that point we can see if anyone needs a ride in.

just out of curiosity, you really want to go all the way out there just for a scale run?
anyone been to otero canyon over here? rick? NM-337 S - Google Maps
if we do go out there i'd wanna stop by moon rock for a little, to scout for a comp. snoopy is where we had the scale comp, just south of moon.

i know exactly where that is. that sounds like a good place to try, i've only mtn biked there once but i say lets try it. meet at the subway at 10 am?

We are open to any ideas at this point. Most of the areas Rick and myself were talking about are currently under snow, or with the weather we have been having, are pure mud.
We both know that is kinda out of the way to go.... but that was all we could come up with. Any ideas for a fun scale run area is good with us!

Scot, my dad and I know that area really well.. I am cool with a koh or just a scale run.. Anywhere is fine with me. Sunshine, rain, or snow.. I am down to run
