rausch creek, RCROCS, and rc...(ny guys)

Hey guys, Ive been away for a while with boards and stuff to pass so I can just get my degree and be done with it. However I was given a somewhat unique opportunity and want to pass the invite on to you guys. The details are sparse at this point because the event is still in the planning stages.

The where: Rausch creek offroad park
The when: at one of the RCROCS comps of 2009
The what and why: a RC crawler comp and a chance for us rc crawlers to show off our trucks to wheelers and their families (as well as people who just like to watch the comps) and recruit people into the hobby.

I’ve been put in touch with Ken who works with the owners of the park, he said he is gonna work on getting giveaways and prizes for people who want to participate.

I will be sure to pass on info as I get it, however I feel that it would be a great opportunity for those of us in the northeast to spread our hobby as well as get a chance to meet other people who like to crawl. Depending on when it happends I may try and setup a wheeling day for the following day or something for those of us with 1:1’s to get out and play with those.

So yea, if this is something your interested in please post up…the more people we get the more fun it’ll be.

Where abouts in Ny would this be taking place and would it be a fun run or a competition?

not in NY...its gonna be at Rausch creek in northern PA. i know a lot of NY guys who go to Rausch to wheel anyway so i figured i would extend the invite. Its gonna be a comp + fun run. it will be during the RCROCS comp for 1:1 as an exhibition type comp with prizes and such.
