Default Glens Falls Crawling 03/20/10

Here a few first shots from our crawl at the spot...

I definately enjoy driving more than shooting pics so I didnt end up with a ton but I did manage to salvage a few

One thing I want to say... is READ YOUR MANUAL!!! I found out what was wrong with my crawler and I caused it myself I had hit the button and dropped it into Lipo Mode which while running a NIMH battery will stall under load as the power consumption drops the NIMH under cut off... can you say DOOOFUS?

Was great meeting the guys up there and I doubt that I will find as good of a place to run the crawlers down in our neck of the woods... its a great spot!!!

Good to hear about the Lipo button. Nothing broke or fried!
Great pictures! I will try and get some vids posted this week.

Wait, you guys got all the beautiful Glens Falls mountain and water to play with and you hang out at an underpass?

Believe me... under the bridge was 100000x better than up on Spier Falls in my book... I had plenty of outside time today...

I started putting rock aside from our track work... I think I may have 30-40 rocks right now from the track renovation yesterday... I will probably see (while its not raining) if I can put them all together in something down by where the crawl field is going in here at the house...

Nice is that a Wraith? Hey we might be able to gs toet a few more days in before it is to cold to be under bridge. The local hobby shop has someone building an indoor course. Have not tried it but it looks good. Email me your contact info and we can give you a call to see when we can get together.

hey guys,

im up in south glens falls every saturday racing my spec touring car at racing city hobbies. if u also race there u would now me as Dalton Kayser driveing a very beat up hpi sprint 2. i have a very highly modded venom creeper.

can get biuld thread here
VCDUD's venom biuld

2 weekends ago i went there and there was a guy there working on the course. i bring my crawler along every week to go and do some practice there. as of right now i am the first person to use the course. the course is not done yet but it is in finished enought order that u can go crawling on it. it needs more rocks and some more work as to the one side of the course. im hoping it will be finished this weekend or the weekend after.

my cell # is 518-641-9928 give me a call or text as to if u want to meet up and go crawlering under the brigde. i didnt know about this a while back until one guy mentioned it to me when me and my father were giving him a ride home.

hoping to crawl with u guys soon
thanks Dalton K. team paradox driver

Glad to hear someone is working on it! Just finished my viper berg and I talked to the owner two months ago cause I was going to work on it this winter if no one picked up the torch. I'll have to go check it out soon!

Any pics? Here's what it looked like last time I was there:

I need to order a new axle for my Berg and then start practicing. MOA is awesome but it's a big change. Since my built CK roller didn't sell I'm putting that back together so I have two rides.

Ok. Got a new axle and some spares. The first broke so easily I need some super 300s or I will go through them quickly. But, I'm back in action and ready to crawl!
