|  Strippin the green???
What else could I use to strip the axial green off the links? I tried the yellow EZ OFF and it left the aluminum looking like crap. Thanks |

I used liquid plumber gel. Only took about ten minutes. When I did mine the aluminum didnt look very uniform either. Rinse them well and rinse them with some baking soda and water mix to neutralize the acid. I didnt like how they looked so I polished them with a dremel. Then I got some "Never Dull" from the auto parts store and they polished up so quick and easy it wasnt even funny. You can always use some scotch brite pads for a brushed finish as well...... The stinky oven off works well but leaves them black.. But some mothers aluminium wheel polish and a rag will make them glo in seconds.  |

I used greased lightning because it is less toxic than the other products and has the same stripping ability. I threw my parts in a bowl, poured in some G.L. and sloshed it around until they were silver. Then take em out, wipe em down and rinse em off. Warning, don't touch the parts with your bare hands until after you wipe them off. I did and got some weird fingerprints on one of the links. |

It leaves it a satin finish. But the anodize on this stuff isnt very consistent so you might get some blotches. Thats why I polished all the stuff I stripped.

Ok sounds good, I think I have some liquid plumbing stuff at home, brand doesnt matter does it. Its just a basic liquid plumbing stuff |

i tell ya, i read on here everyday about stripping the green off? i like it i have one. dosent bother me, its no worse than back in the day they anodized rc 10,s &traxxas trucks &buggies with the ugly gold,

Just letting you guys not to use greased lightining. I took that dudes word for it, but it doesent work at all. I have had a lower control arm soaking in pure greased lighting for an hour now and it doesent do anything. Dont waste the money |
