I'd like to know where you read that? Only info I have ever seen is that they are not going to be made unless the need arises for them, and at this time, the need is not there.

I haven't seen an issue with anybody breaking the stock outer axle stubs. I have blown apart the RC4WD outer stubs designed for the straight axle kit, but not the stockers.

ctruss, not all CVDs are the same size. lol, the T3s are much smaller, thus weaker

Last I heard, RCP wasn't gonna have them made. We'll have to wait for the Axial versions ...

We had planned on making cvd's for the AX10. There were circumstances, not the least of which is the fact that the stock axles don't break, that forced us to pull the plug on the MIP units.

Sorry we let you guys down, but sometimes that's the way the ball bounces...or the CVD turns...or something like that.

I'm sure there will be an upgraded axle for the ax10 available soon.

Default plus and minus

tried the hpi cvd's from a mt2 nitro..figured it works w/a 3.0 engine why not a crawler......same size as axial unit ....well mostly they dont they snap..where axle flares to the split ball...torque is a killer...maybe in a "wheel speed required" set up...and avoid driving through a bind
thought 110 deg steer would be nice...but not if its not powering the wheel..so now im lookin for another cvd that fits ..proper brng stack..decent angle..and oh yea...strong

Any thoughts on how best to get decreased turning radius while we wait for aftermarket stuff?

I just got finished building my first set of Ax-10 axles and the outer axle stub looks like you could trim down the cup area and re-tapper the inside just like we use to do to TLT axles before CVD's. I think I am gonna leave them stock for strength I'll just use the dig to make those sharp turns!
