Default Normal 2.2 tyres on RC4WD narrow wheels?

I could have put this in the wheels and tyres question but it seems like a bit n00b question to me!

I'm interested in the following wheels

Black Beadlock Wheels 2.2 Tires 12mm Super Narrow
http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=606
I no there are lots of others but I like these because they're black with silver rock rings and it seems like there is a much smaller choice of black alloy wheels.

Can I use normal 2.2 tyres like rock crushers or Losi's, or do I need to narrow my tyres to use them?

they should work good with the crushers since they are narrow and wil work with otherr 2.2s aslong as they arent very wide but will still work with others. what tires are you planning on using?

I have baught 2 sets of aluminum beadlocks from RC4WD and the fit and finish on the rims is increadable! I never had a set of beadlocks "lock" in the tire as easy as these. Yes, just about any 2.2 tire will fit perfect.

heres the different in a wide and narrow wheel. they are axials one is int the bead and the other is inside of the locking area making it like a narrow wheel. it just makes the tire a little taller and narrower.
