Default AX10 Brushless-battery question

Equipment:
AX-10
Goat Brushless system
Hitec 5645 Servo
TCS 7cell pack
MRC Superbrain 960 Charger

I was searching around for some Lipo information when I discovered that the Goat brushless system is only supposed to run on 7.2V. When charging my TCS pack I noticed that when charging it at 0.5A the LCD screen has read up to 10.38V but will drop back to 9.69 when the battery is fully charged.
Bear with me, since I am retarted, but I should not be running that pack with my Brushless system. Correct? I think I should be running a 7.2V pack between 4 and 7 cells based on the specs of my ESC and Motor. I am not sure if I bought the wrong pack or if I dont have the charger setup the right way.
I have run my rig for about 15 total minutes after building it just to test different suspension setups. Have I done any damage?

Thanks

Lipos and Nimh charge high. My 3s goes over up to 12.4 but is only an 11.1 pack.

What is your mah?

You are running a 7 cell pack on a 6cell rated esc though

k, just went and did the research on the goat. it is rated for 7 cells, so you are ok there. It seems you are OK with the batts voltage too.

You're fine. Don't sweat it. Your pack maxes out the approved range with the Goat setup, which is how I run all my stuff without problems.
