Default Servo noise

I have a Hitec 5955TG, Mamba Max, and a Spektrum 3001 receiver system (2.4gHZ). I have been running this new servo for a few days and seem to get some radio noise out of the thing, (great servo as far as torque goes.) When I am turning my crawler it will make some strange radio noise, which I expect when it is moving, but when I return the servo arm to neutral (straight up, down) It will continue to make the "noises" kind of a whining sound almost like radio interferance, but I am using 2.4gHZ radio system.

The only way that the "noise" stops is when I throttle the rig for a second, but once I turn the wheels it will stick with the radio "noise". I am not sure if the servo is under powered, like it might need a BEC or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your talking about the wining noise it makes, its just trying to find center. All digital servos that I have had do this. The reason it stops when you bump the throttle is because your taking the weight off the front of the truck and making it easier to center.

So the servo isn't over working? If so that's great then. I thought it was having problems. Thankyou

It is overworking, but thats what high resolution digital servos must do to find center. They work alot.

You should be running a CC BEC or another form of external BEC using that servo and the Mamba Maxx (worst internal BEC in ESC).

I've also found that touching the steering just a tiny bit to one side or the other will often stop the chirping. As others have said though, this is common with digital servos.
