Why would you put BB's in a 1:1 crawler?

Wow, I'm no 1:1 crawling guru but damn. That has to be insano expensive and wouldn't really work well would it?

I'm guessing BB's for wheel balancing and not for weight offset.

BB's really don't work well. I don't know I used to love them now I hate them. Just the noise, the fact that the tire can't be well supported thus causing it to loose traction.

We've been filling our 1:1 rock crawler tyres up with water about 2/3rds the way up so the water leval lines up with the top of the rim.... Its a pain when you do a bead though

yes ihave heard of putting bbs in tires yes i have them them in mine it seems to work great it allows the tire to flex around the terrain your up against -----------now on steep hills it might hurt you because the bbss will move to the back of the tire

I didn't like the noise or the sloshyness of them. The BB's have nothing to do with the tire flexing around the terrain

I tried Airsoft bb's in my rig - for about five minutes!

The noise pert near drove me nuts.
