Default Running two four pack sub C's in series OK?

I plan to run two separate four pack 4700 mah Sub C's in series using a custom harness for 9.6v. I'll charge them separately. Should be ok right?
Any issues I should be aware of?

Shouldn't be a problem, I've done the same but with 6 cell packs.

If you will be using them in series, it is best to charge in series. If they haven't been used together (or balanced in a while) I recommend discharging them at 1c and charging at .1 to .2C a few times to balance them first. Then discharge both and recharge in series.
