| Travel Limits
Another noob question for you guys. I have been looking around have not been able to find any posts on how much to limit your travel. I have a basically stock ax-10 and right now it has almost 90 degrees of travel, way to much I know. I am going to ad stops on the inside of the shock and was wondering how much travel you guys recommend. What should I shoot for? Thanks in advance.

I run between 45 and 55 degrees of articulation. 90 is way too much. You could use a limiting strap.

Lots of personal preference on this question but I like just enough to clear the same size tires I'm running. That means I can lift one tire just over five inches off the ground which puts me in the 40 degree category but the 45-55 seems pretty standard.

After moving the stock shock spacer to the inside try some fuel tubing on the outside of the shock shaft. If you need more than 2 inches of it between all four I'd be surprised. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1/2 inch each would be a good start. You can always trim it down.
