Default Home made Dig Throw Question

With the sliding coupler home made dig (First Sticky in the AX forum), how much does the servo need to move the coupler to disengage the shaft and engage the locking pin? Will a quarter inch get it done?

Thanks

Depends on where the shaft stops on the upper part & where your locking pin is at on the lower shaft.I have a "homemade" one & the throw is about 1/2 inch.
