Torque twist is caused by the driveshaft trying to spin the axle. If it can't (axle bound up) it will twist the chassis, usually to the left. It can also occur when an axle is very light, like when you are near vertical and all the weight is on the back axle, the front axle will twist and push you over backwards. in order to fight it, proper link geometry is crucial. do a search for Torque Twist and you will find all kinds of remidies. Best thing to do is to lower the ride hight to around 2.5 in at the skid for the axial, maybe even less, depends on your terrain. Basically the straighter your driveshaft, the less twist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQcS9CPJ0-s . |
