Default hitec servo

well i just bought a hitec 625mg servo from the hobby store and was wondering if that would work alright for a scale winch servo

It will work. Won't be the strongest though. I have had great luck with using the cheap TowerPro servos for winch duty. I have a TP995 in my 1.9 for a winch and it easily lifts the complete truck off the ground.

The 945, 995, and the 946R are all great servos for a winch. Super cheap too. They can all be had for 10-20 bucks.

Yeah. Ive been wanting to make a winck for a long time. Can anybody help me and tell me what I need???
