Default Lipo question

so new to LiPo and i have a simple question, out of my battery is the positive and negative that attach to the motor, there is also another little wire (or set off) with a little plug on the end, what do I do with that plug?

That is the balancing tap used when charging.

that plug has individual connections to each cell in the pack. A balancer plugs into it and measures the voltage in each cell. Then the balancer will equalize the voltages in each cell (balance). You must protect this wire and plug from getting broken, frayed, etc....
