Default Novak Rooster esc??

Newbie ? I have a Novak Rooster ESC, box says high-power Drag Brakes for monster holding power! Never heard of it. What is Drag Brakes? What's the difference from regular brakes? Anyone have any knowledge of this?

Default Rooster Crawler Edition

Is this the Rooster 'Crawler Edition'?

If so, it has what a lot call "Stop Brakes".
When set up correctly, this will hold the crawler from rolling when stick or trigger is returned to the neutral position.

Works great on my 2.2. I have a 55T motor.
If you use it with faster setups (gearing or lower turn motors) it will seem really 'jerky' and can brake drivetrane or gears.
There are no settings to lessen its effect, but you can play with end point adjustments and trim on your radio.

'Drag Brakes' are what the Tekin FXr and Castles have.
They are adjustible and provide resistance to rolling while stopped.
