| Whats the best chassis hands down?
Ok I want to upgrade my AX10. I see several different chassis kits for the thing. Whats your pick as the ultimate choice?

This subject is OPINION based... "The best chassis hands down" is the one that works best for you... BTW- I run DL customs... |

May as well go to a motocross race and ask what the best dirtbike is hands down. Or what the best snowboard is. Or the best car. There is no one definitive answer.

agreed, the best one is what YOU like. just like the case with MOA vs Shafty ..... the ones doing well with MOA right now are the ones that do well with anything. take your time, practice, ask, try and tune ....... myself I run the CDW v1.0 and it works very well for me. |

Its all i the set up and wheeltime. I just did my first comp with my GC-1 this past weekend and it was pretty ugly. If I would have had my basically stock AX-10 that I have driven for the last year I probably would have had half the score I got.

I have tried the Integy aluminum chassis, Integy graphite chassis and currently The OG SW2 which is going to be switched out here in a few days to the Double D chassis...You could say I am still searching for the perfect chassis...for me! |

I haven't learned to outdrive the capabilities of the stock chassis in terms of crawling, so I see no need to replace it for now. I will however be going scale soon, but that's a completely different game. |

i wonder if the better question to ask is what frames you should stay away from (in terms of poor suspension/frame geometry, lack of adjustment, etc.).

| other than looks it really isn't any different than a stock axial except that it doesn't have as much adjustability. on another note like already said its up to you. I prefer my hustler myself but not everyone likes tubers or droop for that matter. But I would suggest that whatever you end up getting work with it and tune it and drive it alot so you can get it dialed in for your driving style. Just because the GC1 was a national champ chassis doesn't mean it will work best for everyone(it is a really good chassis though). Ask some locals what they run and see if they will let you drive theres.
