Default Need expierenced opinions ASAP Please

Hey ya'll, I found a crawler to trade out for my savage and all my extra motors and stuff.. this is what hes got to trade me

"HiTec MG servo w/Kimbrough saver
Custom TVP chassis
Custom 4-link post mounts
Custom links
Kyosho MagMayhem motors w/9t Pinions
Thundertech wheel widners
Thundertech Adj Motor mounts
x4 oil filled shocks
Silicone wire & Deans connectors
TRX reciever
Stock wheels w/ Nobby tires
Custom rear steering lockout
Custom Difflock (Both F&R)
Custom skidplate "

Is this a good starter crawler? a good trade for a savage 25 with 3 motors and lots of parts?

here is a pic of the crawler..

Thanks for any advice here..

Are you wanting a super rather than a 2.2? I would look for an Axial AX10 based crawler to start out on if I were you. There's an abundance of parts and knowledge on this sight.

yea I want an ax10 but I can't view the for sale trade forums here. And I haven't found anyone interested in trading my rig and all my parts for an ax10.

There is no need to rush into purchasing one of these toys. If you keep looking around on the website, you'll find plenty of crawlers available. In just a short time you'll be able to see the for sale section. You can currently see the vendors section. Most of them sell the AX-10 kit and I am sure that you could sell your savage on e-bay to offset some of the cost.

True, I am just anxious as Im sure you all know.. And being as I know nothing about the elec machines, I didnt know if I would be getting the short end of the stick by trading this guy straight across..

Thanks for the advice ya'll.

Building a clod is NOT a cheap task and it looks like that one needs some work.

Wait for the crawler that you really want!

I found it very worthwhile to go ahead and buy a star so that I could see the for sale ads. I was also impatient. Plus you can enter the give-aways.

Wait for the AX10!

Until then, read, read, and read! That is what I did.

Is there no clod knowledge on this site?
Yes a super cost a little more but there worth every penny and there are more than enough parts available to build a very capable clod based rig.

my advise would be scope out the terain you will be wheeling it on. If the rocks arent that big than wait on an ax-10 it you have alot of big stuff to crawl then a clod wouldn't be a bad rig to have. That clod in question I feal would be a bad trade cause it isn't ready so to speak. If you want a clod you would be better of getting one that is more comp. worthy(even if you don't plan on competing with it) Otherwise wait until you can get what you really want. And as said already you could always sell the savi on Ebay and use that $ to put toward the crawler of your dreams.

Of course there is....however, he made a few posts prior to this that indicated that he wanted an ax-10....which is why I made my suggestion.
