Default full droop

On an AX-10 is it better to run a full droop set up or is it better to run springs? I've seen both but still not sure.

It's all on your driving style. Droop takes a good amount of trial and error. Sprung suspension also does, but not near as much. personally I really like droop over sprung right now. If you have the time to play with fluid weights, dampening/valving, and internal spring rates give it a try.

Either way, go with a set of aluminum bodies (STRC's) and teflon tape the threads. I would also look into using something other than the Axial springs for a sprung set up. The rates are nothing close to what is claimed......

run what ever weight you want. the thicker the oil the stiffer the shock. go to TCS's website for the internal springs.

TSC softs are good springs to go with. As for oil it will depend on your axle weight. The heavier the axles the thicker the oil. Example: With a stock ax-10 and say 6oz. per tire of added weight up front and 3oz. in each rear I would start with 65wt up front and 60 out back. This is not the cure all setup. You will still need top do alot of driving and tuning but it should be a good starting point.

Actually another place for internals is Ace Hardware. Century Springs.
