Default New SuperClod Crawler/Basher

Hey people,

I just bought a Super Clod Buster Kit and was wondering what some good upgrades to make it into a rock crawler/basher would be.

-replacement ESC?
-chassis upgrades?
-suspension upgrades?
-new motors? (torque and speed)

There are many chassis availalble out there, but we offer our Evolution chassis which offers a good combination of bashing/crawling. The kit also includes provisions for new steering and shock mounts, both of which the Clodbuster in its stock form sorely lacks.

As far as ESC, your budget is the limit, with the Moped being the cheap alternative up through the better Rebel 2, Sidewinder, FXR, Super Duty, and Mamba Max (to name a few).

Since you want to bash and crawl, I guess I'd start by using the stock motors that came with your kit (since they're free). Those are 27T motors, and will let you decide if the truck is too fast/slow for your liking. 35-55T motors will give you a good combination of speed/torque, and you cn choose based on if you mainly bash or mainly crawl.

Good luck, and between RCC and our website photo gallery, there are 100s of Clodbuster rigs pictured for you to draw information from.
