| how many cells is to many
i have a lrp esc AI super digital reverse and i stated out with six cells on my new cliff climber and it was not so hot very bad cog. i removed rear servo, locked rear and then it was better. But not good enough so for more power and wieght in the rear, didnt have any more wieghts so i added 2 more cells and now it goes over every thing. for the most part. i noticed the motors get hotter faster but the esc is fine. Is this ok any suggestions. Last edited by gigercreeper; 10-31-2008 at 09:41 PM. |

8.4 volts or 7 cells is the most you really want to put through that esc as show in the picture and the reason behind the heat is more voltage is more power and current and more resistance to the motor but your run time will be reduced
