Hey hey hey! THanks 2 all, i'm happy that i made this topic =) Now №1 question is where to get SSMT? Nothing on EBay, and i live in Russia, so other ways of buying stuff exept stores that ship in Russia are probably difficult. If it's possible, i'l buy about 8 pcs for me and my friends! Where to get some? Last edited by coMix; 11-11-2008 at 09:55 AM. |

SSMT axles will be really hard to find. If you do find some, they will be expensive...usually in the 60-100$ price range. I know that XMODificatoin had some on eBay along with tires and some other stuff. I'm not sure if the auction is over, or if someone bought them. A different option is to try to custom build an axle. |

Is this what the axles are from? It's the only one i found that isn't sold out/discontinued. I guess you must pay to play. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MR7I9W?...0&linkCode=asn |

Yeah - the link you posted is what the axles are from. The other R/C is useless, pretty much.

You want the ones in the Toys-R-Us link, the Amazon link is to the smaller version which is just like a Zip-Zap. They are no longer made, and hard to come by. The last set I saw on Ebay were starting at $150, I just rolled my eyes and hit the back button. They are a valuable commodity due to the small scale, they're perfect for 1:24th scale builds. Most folks who have a set and are willing to part with them know what people are willing to pay for them... |

Here's my 2 ZZMTs with fj40 bodies. They have a choice of 3 diffent wheel/tire combos and 4 motors for different speeds. No flex...for now. Smoke and Mirrors hooked me up with a link to a site detailing a mod to allow the things to flex like the one he built and pictured in this thread. As he noted they are locked diff 4WD. Just a fun little toy. You can back up then hit forward for some neat wheelies and they have a roller in back so in wheelie you can do 360 degree spins. The headlights work in forward and the tail lights work in reverse. These bodies came from a Mighty Wheels diecast toy and were modded to fit the ZZMT. Not a serious crawler but I've got about $40 invested in the whole shebang. |
