Default Better in Reverse.

see if someone can figure this one out.
i went to place to do sone crawling and there was a pile of crushed rock and gravel.
looked like fun so i started to do some crawling.
i noticed that some of the places i tried to crawl while going foreward it would not make it through but if i turned around and tried it in reverse it would go right up.
it also goes faster in reverse.
WHY?
thx Dirby.

Flips your wires on the motor or change it on your radio. Reverse the throttle. You could have more clearance in the rear depending on you linkage. It also depends how you set up your battery and weighted your truck. picture or a better explanation would help us to help you.

Reverse your motor wires.... black to red and red to black...... That is why you are goin faster in reverse than forward. You might have to reverse the throttle switch on your radio to keep your current settings. Quick easy fix.....

It also may depend on what motor you have. If it has adjustable timing it may not be set at zero. If the motor has advanced timing and you flipped the trans, like many do in the MRC this is more then likely your problem.

I thought that would fry the motor, reversing the wires.

Nope, just changes the direction of the motor.

Depending on the motor, you may be able to turn the endbell 180 degrees too.

make sure you have your endpoints set on your radio correctly when you reset your speedo to your radio

i have this problem w/ the stock 27t motor in the AX10 RTR.

its WAY too fast to crwal forward, as it just jumps and jerks w/ the lightest trigger pull.

i reversed my wires and such, and its a big improvement.

@least until i get a 55t this weekend
