Default Couple Questions

I just purchased an Axial with a Thunder Power 1900 mAh lipo 2S and a Quattro Plus charger. I want to know what connectors to run on the battery. Run the JST connectors or is it OK to switch to the Deans plug with how small of a gage the wires from the battery are? The charger didn't come with the proper adapter to charge the battery so I think I'll purchase a multi plug adapter. The other question is what do I need to properly balance the battery? A balancer, an adapter, what? Thanks for your time.

Personally I would go with the Deans Ultra connector. Some chargers that are lipo ready have balancing built in, if yours doesn't you may have to buy an external balancer. As to the gauge of wire, you should be able to get away with 12 gauge, and larger of course.

Should I change the wires on the battery to 12 gauge wire or just the plug on the battery? Thanks.

larger wires will help with more amp draw from the battery. make sure you have a soldering iron up to the task of soldering to a battery.
