| Binding issues..
Ok, so I got a rooster crawler from Bowtie here... I wired it up, then turned on the radio, pushed the "set" button, and then turned on the esc. I got a flash of green and red lights, then it went to solid red. At that point, I pulled the trigger full throttle on the radio (like the novak instructions say) and waited for the light to turn green. I waited a solid 3 minutes and it never turned green. Am I just not waiting long enough, or am I having an issue with the esc or radio? I know, its a newb question, but I've been searching all night and haven't found anything on it. Scott |

Sometimes ESC's won't calibrate unless your throttle is reversed. Or it's already reversed and it doesn't like that. Check in to it. Also, most ESC's I've used make you hold full throttle before you turn the ESC on. It's been a long time since I calibrated a rooster, so I don't know about that one. Something else to try anyway. |

Got it figured out fellas.. had a few issues, like throttle and steering were going the opposite ways than they should, but I reprogrammed and flipped one of my channels on the radio, and its working great. Now to buy some velcro to stick it all to the chassis... I can already tell this rooster is going to work 100 times better than that puny associated xps micro that was on it when I got it. Scott |

check your connections in the receiver to make sure they are correct as the esc won't like it. 10 seconds is probably a long time to wait

I have run across multiple ESCs from Novak that had incorrect calibration instructions in the manual. You might want give them a call for some help.
