| Servo Sticking
My truck took a big fall today, and now the servo gets stuck when I try to steer right. It is fine steering left. When I steer to the right though, it makes clicking noises and takes a bit for it to recenter. I tried looking through some older threads, but couldn't find any info that addressed this specifically. I am running the stock servo that came with the AX10 RTR. I've been wanting to upgrade to a servo with higher torque. Is my current servo salvageable, or should I invest in a new one now?

That is the sunny-side of broken parts, they are a reason to upgrade! It sounds like you stripped the teeth on one of the gears, the only way to repair it is to get a rebuild kit, if they make one, and replace the gears. You might try the rebuild kit fron Traxxas, that may work. |

Cool, thanks. I'll search around for a rebuild kit. Still got my eye on a new servo though. Thought I would try to salvage this one for when I can install a dig.

I would try and salvage it for a dig, at this point i have 2 crawlers that are using 645mg servos with stripped gears and they work fine.
