Default newbe crawler

hi there every one, ive decided to get my first crawler after watching them on youtube.

ive been into rc since the first tamiya grasshopper came out ,ive dne 1,8th buggy racing in national races( brca uk)built kits from top of the range touring car to my hpi baja 5b ss, and now spend most of my time with my hpi baja 5b .

with all the scale crawlers outthere ie losi,venom,axial,tamiya, and others wich one would you recomend for a newbe ie easy to use,hop up,mend,and modifi.

Another vote for the Axial ARTR. For crawling that's about the best there is for a really good starter rig. All you have to add is electronics and you're ready to crawl. To make it even better starting out stick some weight in the tires and get the 2/3a split pack batteries to mount on the front axle, or go lipo with it. Right now there are more upgrade parts out there for it than any of the others, and there are so many people out there that have them that any tech questions can usually be answered in just a couple minutes on here.

Personally I was into r/c way back in the day, and have always found it fun, but I also found the fast rigs to get boring after a while. Once you start crawling you may end up forgetting about those others.
