Default clocking axles

I have been reading throughout the Berg section and in many cases people are clockiing there berg axles in there builds. What do you gain from this and how is this achieved?

you gain more clearance under the motor. This way you don't get the motor hug up on rocks as much. But with this, you move the weight of the motor higher, making your center of gravity higher. It's a minor trade off, for not getting hung up as much. In the vendors section, JeepinDoug is selling a berg clocking jig.

Found it Berg Clocking Fixture, $20
