| My Planned AX-10 Rig
Hey everyone!! I want to start by saying that I have learn tons of info from reading here. I wanted to layout my proposed rig and see if there were any glaring incompatibilities or issues with what ia m planning on doing. So here it is: AX-10 Scorpion Kit Chassis: DMG Nemesis Motor: Tekin 55T ESC: Tekin FXR BEC: Castle Creations 5.0V Setting Radio: DX3.0 Battery: maxamps Lipo 860mah 2S2P 7.4V Saddle Battery Pack Dig: CKRC FT Dig with Servo Steering Servo: Hitec HS7950TH 4-Link: Bender Custom Axial Alum Upgrades: C's and Steering Knuckles and Rear Axle lockouts Wheels: Vanquish Revolver Procomp DH Tires: Proline Chisels Am I mssing anything? |

What Dig would you recommend? And why not the 55t?

The 55t will work fine, but I suspect you will want a little more speed in the future. Thats the reason the 35t was mentioned.

Sound's pretty good but I would up that BEC setting to 6.0v, that is where you will get the best performance out of the servos. I really have no preferance on the dig units because personally I'd just swap tranny and all out for an R2D. The 55t will be a great starting motor. More and more here lately people are starting to notice they're better off with something in the 45t to 35t range for more wheelspeed.

If your going to running the Tekin FXR with a 55T motor , you will be good, but you need to run a 3-cell lipo and you will have good wheel speed! You could even go with a 45T and you would have plenty of speed for crawling! |

That sounds like a good start, but for the radio I would go with the Dx3r if funds allow, it is a great radio.
