The panthers that work best are the ones that you sell to buy Claws...haha

In all reality, they are called Cougars

panther cougars are what u want for crawling as far as panthers go

I would suggest doing some researching on the tire and wheels part of the forum, there is a ton of good info when it comes to selecting tires, we are very lucky to have lots of options...it used to be slim pickin

Ok- to clarify: The only tires that the Panther company makes for 2.2 crawlers IE Axial etc.. are called Cougars...:-P

You do not have to cut them because they make them to fit!

You cant go wrong with the Cougars...

Do not get them with the mem foams, get them with the standard white foams...Leave the rear foams uncut and trim the fronts...

I can understand newer people being a little confused with all of the threads/posts about people cutting and gluing 2.2 tires.

What they are doing is either taking several 2.2 size tires and combining them to make a larger 40 size tire for the unlimited class or cutting down a 2.2 tire to make it fit a 1.9 class rig.

The reason that peeps do this is there are very few tire choices in the 40 size right now. as for 1.9??? that one I don't get because they have some good choices but I think that some peeps just have to have a certain tire or they just like a project.
