They are probably talking about the Castle Sidewinder. Specs are close to a Mamba Max....they have plenty for most crawlers. For the guys that like lots of power, the Mamba Max takes the cake though. If you really want to get nuts, there's a Mamba Monster Max. Holmes Hobbies has all the specs listed so you can compare them easily and choose the best one for your set up.

We can't spoon feed you guys forever. I had to learn it at one time.

IMO,a brushed motor will be your best option. Brushless can work good, don't get me wrong. At the moment though, brushed motors are the best option for comps. Allot better on the bottom end. I'm not sure on the final gear ratio's the Losi will end up with, haven't really read much on it. Might do some reading on that and that'll dictate which wind will suit that truck best. I'm gonna guess around a 35t though. That trucks running worm gears. I'd think a 55t would be to slow.

Go with a Mamba Max. The Sidewinder doesn't have good drag brakes at all! And the Monster Max is more for 1/8 and bigger rigs. A Monster Max would be way overkill for a 2.2 crawler and it has a large footprint. Mamba Max is the way to go And x2 on the brushed motor. After you get your feet wet then you can grab a brushless motor, and keep the same ESC. The Mamba Max, Sidewinder and Monster Max all run brushed and brushless motors
